It's with a heavy heart that I have realized that our political system is a failure.  In the beginning a man (not being sexist here) was elected into office for the people, by the people, to represent the People.  Now let's look at what it was evolved into.  Politicians are elected because special interest groups help to fund their campaigns in exchange of future favors that will help to facilitate hidden agendas or financial kickbacks, or etc, etc.  Bipartisanship is but a dream now faded much like Rome or Camelot.   The American people are hurting due to no health-care coverage, poor from no jobs and starving because we are so dependent on foreign oil that we have to decide to either fuel our vehicles or put food on the tables.  
Instead of doing the job they were elected to do, help and look after the people that elected you. (All of them not just the rich ones) Instead they bicker and squabble among themselves.  Pointing fingers at one another or creating brush-fires to distract the people from the important issues.  Thereby insuring that nothing gets done, forestalling any real decision making.  Making sure to drag their feet as they rush to hear what side their party is leaning towards.    
I want a politician that will equally protect the interest of the prince as well as the popper.  Are there any such ones around?

Alright people it is a new year and I am finally ready to turn over those old stones to see what my lie underneath them.  Its a Bright and fascinating new world at there. So lets see what's in store for us.  So get ready, stay strong, and watch out it could be a bumpy ride.  Smooth sailing's for birds.
